Bonnie Martinez Biography, Resume, & Personal Background: When people first hear that Bonnie is a man, their reaction is predictable: “did your parents want a girl, or did they not like you?” Because this is such an often repeated question, my answer has become very candid and natural: “Quite the contrary” I reply. “They wanted me to face life undaunted by any adversity. And they have certainly accomplished their goal!” I chose to accept their challenge at an early age and have spent a lifetime vigorously testing the limits life has to offer. Recognizing and conquering each obstacle in my path, I painstakingly defined my own identity. In my earlier years while in the Marine Corps I developed “team effort” awareness and cultivated expert leadership abilities. Vigorous parachute jumping, scuba diving and essential self-defense training brought seasoning and character. I discovered that it was my own beliefs, which were the most important of all and that, gave me personal self-confidence. With maturity, I acquired the awareness that self-esteem ultimately comes from within, I feel proud of who I am and what I am called - Bonnie! PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: In continuing my pursuit to establish a name and a reputation to be proud of, I furthered my education and career in management and administration. Utilizing my earlier personnel skills and command training, I spent 18 years with a national transportation firm directing and supervising the West Coast Region. During this time, I fine-tuned my ability to gauge my client’s needs and meet their expectations with professional commitment and precision. Today, I feel I exemplify that same professionalism in working with my clients in Real Estate. With over 20 years of full time real estate experience, a mind disciplined over the years to carefully attend to every detail and owning my own Real Estate Company, I attempt to meticulously follow through the various complexities involved in each transaction. As a Real Estate Broker these past 18 years, I am able to competently negotiate on behalf of my clients with versatility, discernment and insight.
